This 2 day 16-hour outdoor first aid course requires no previous first aid experience and is very popular. The content on day one is the same as the basic first aid course, day two has a strong emphasis on practical scenarios dealing with common injuries and illnesses.

The whole course is geared towards the challenges of performing first aid in a more remote or wilderness situation therefore where possible the practical sessions are taught outdoors.

This is an excellent course for those taking outdoor qualifications such as ML, SPA, MIA and MIC as well as IRATA, BOF, BCU, BASI and RYA. It is also popular with those who mountain bike, paraglide, horse ride or simply walk or play in the outdoors and wish to be more prepared should an incident occur.

This course is as relevant to the novice, as it is to the more ‘seasoned’ first aider, from the lone adventurer to the group leader, what ever the outdoor activity.                                                                                                                          Venue: The Deilen Las Centre in Beddgelert.

Cost: £149 per person, discount for students: this price                      includes a buffet lunch on both days.                                       (Privately run courses can be arranged: prices vary                     according to number of courses booked and location)
